hi Mr Ruto.I have noted your concern regarding Raphaei (Columbus) bridge. Be
rest assured that the bridge and the entire road from Karandi via secondary
-Taiti-Bondeni upto Kona Tisa will be worked on this year. Thank you for your
comment.

I am delighted by the response of Cllr K.K
I hope you will keep your word and
that this is not politics. This infant will ease the work of our dear community
in terms of transportation of their produce.

The thing is we have the resources but how to manage them is the problem. For
instant "kazi kwa vijana" I dont see why youth were given money just to
go and slash bare ground couldn't we just hire a tractor to collect some stones
and buy at lest a few bags cement and use the same youths to construct the
bridge? As a ward can't we sit and decide before executing a project? why are we
behaving as if we are waiting for other people to come and build our ward?

Each day comes with its frustrations. Residence watch out and learn from
MISTAKES!

That is a good challage to the location leaders expecialy the newly elected
location development committee. The guiding policy to the roads engeneer is that
the works under kazi kwa vijana should be done off carriage way thats why your
idea could not have been implemented. However there is 5M for kazi kwa vijana in
the whole constituency which is about 200,000 per ward on average

Hi Ruto for being persistent however the resources are not always enough to
sought all the issues at a go.Through the CDF we have Managed to do four Modern
bridges two of which are in Gituamba i.e Mathege and Ngarachi.Plese be patient
as it is a matter of time and a good work will be done insted of trials

I think I am now being monotonous on the same issue of the bridge. TO bring out
the matter there is this bridge that connect Collumbus village and Bodeni. In the
last unappreciated comment I had put clear that farmers are forced to waste up
to 10 litres of fuel due to the fact they have to move all the way to karandi
and back to almost the same point. In fact the bridge itself cannot cost more
than 50 thousand which is a small amount in the entire constituency.I just wish
that the present councilor could follow the foot step of the previous councilor
who in his capacity had tried to build it. I call upon the MP to come out and
grant assistant to the voiceless people of this region.
